Install Karmic version of libmtp8

Damm lucid was a mistake !!! nothing works right on this. like vista.

uninstall libmtp from synaptic software manager along w/ the players.

Download the Karmic version

http://sourceforge.net/projects/libnjb/files/

ignore newer file warning.

reinstall gnomad2

if it gives error "no jukebox found"

unmount the creative zen

Places > computers > click eject button next to it.

Then rescan in gnomad2 Ctrl+R

Should work

Skype Dark Video Problem

TO alter Skype's dark video on linux

download video4linux control panel

You'll have to adjust it each time though.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable can post with a way to change default configs?

Resetting Start-Up

I don't know if this works yet, just did it but

if you goto

/home/.config/

and open saved sessions and delete all files :)

Why this blog?

This blog is an effort to answer questions that I couldn't find easily on Linux, as a newbie to Linux I figured I'll save some information here for other people that may encounter the same problem.
